so, when I saw these leggings on Style.com- I concluded that they had no function and upon hearing that after the runway show one of the models had to be cut out of the gems.. it made me fearful. Last night turned it around for me. at the 2007 BET Awards Beyoncé rocked the Balenciaga gold leggings and did her futuristic performance of "Get me Bodied". So $80,000 leggings do serve a purpose! Though I think C3PO's armor costs much less.
